Shreyasi Das is a student filmmaker at Rochester Institute of Technology. She has been making animated films for three years now and is about to start working on her senior thesis film, Kolkata (working title). Films she has worked on in the past include: “Delirium” (her first animated short about dreams), “Bhava Raga Tala” (an experimental film on dance) and “Dissonance” (a 3D animated narrative about a robot in a room full of clocks). Her films have been screened at her school’s Honors Shows as well as film festivals like High Street Film Festival, 360|365 Film Festival and Theodore Case Film Festival. She has won the Best Director of the Month title from ‘Student Filmmakers of India’ in 2010 and has recently completed an internship at Pixar Animation Studios.
