Matthew Gilmore

Born and raised in Canton, Massachusetts, Matthew Gilmore began dancing at The Gold School in Brockton, Massachusetts. He continued his training at Walnut Hill School for the Arts, graduating cum laude and receiving the Dance Department Award in 2015. Matthew is currently a student at The Juilliard School. While at Juilliard he has had the honor of performing the works of Nacho Duato, Merce Cunningham, Jerome Robbins, José Limón, Roy Assaf, Katarzyna Skarpetowska, and Helen Simoneau. Additionally, in recent years he has attended summer programs with Springboard Dans Montréal, Nederlands Dans Theater, Jacob’s Pillow and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Matthew will be entering his fourth and final year at Juilliard this fall.
