Parine Jaddo is an Iraqi-Lebanese director who has worked and lived around the world including the United States, Africa and the Middle East. In 2013, her debut documentary film, Broken Record, screened at Reel Iraq Festival.

In 1995, Parine earned a Master of Fine Arts specialising in film from Harvard University. Her short films include ‘Atash’, ‘Aisha’, and ‘Rastas’s Paradise’. She is the recepient of the Paul Robeson Award and the Princess Grace Award for film. She taught film courses at LAU in Beirut, Lebanon, and NYU in Accra, Ghana. ‘Broken Record’ was her first feature documentary. She resides in Beirut, Lebanon.
