Film Honoraria

Taylor Dunne

Princess Grace Award:
Graduate Film Scholarship, 2013

Taylor Dunne makes films that reflect her roots in the Catskill Mountains where she was born. She uses film detritus and her own footage to paint cinematic portraits that investigate residues of history and memory embedded in human and natural environments. Taylor spent her formative years working with historic institutions of independent and avant-garde filmmaking in NYC. Screenings of her films include Views from the Avant-Garde at The New York Film Festival, The Tribeca Film Festival, CROSSROADS Film Festival in San Francisco and The Chicago Underground Film Festival. Taylor is currently an M.F.A. candidate in the Film Studies Department at The University of Colorado in Boulder.
