Brooklyn Mack was born in the small town of Elgin South Carolina where he enjoyed playing basketball, football, and European football.  He began his dance training at the age of twelve in Columbia, South Carolina with the Pavlovich Dance School under Radenko Pavlovich and Milena Leben.  After two years at the Pavlovich dance school Brooklyn was awarded full scholarship to attend the prestigious Kirov Academy of Ballet per Madame Vinogradova, where he studied primarily with Anatoli Kucheruk and Vladimir Djouloukhadze.  Brooklyn spent three years at the Kirov Academy of Ballet, and after graduating from the Academy Brooklyn signed a contract as an apprentice with the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago.  Brooklyn spent a year at the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago, and subsequently joined American Ballet Theatre Studio Company.  Brooklyn has danced many roles with American ballet Theatre Studio Company including The Night Before and Tea in Temptation choreographed by Brian Reeder, Don Quixote, Capriccio by Benjamin Millipied, Aria in which a solo was choreographed on him by Sean Curran.  Brooklyn received the Kirsti Paakenen Encouragement Prize at the International Ballet Competition in Helsinki Finland in 2005, and also won the Silver Medal at the 2006 Jackson International Ballet Competition in Mississippi.  Currently, Mr. Mack is dancing with the Orlando Ballet.  Since dancing with the Orlando Ballet Brooklyn has been featured as Oberon in Midsummer Nights Dream, The Lead in Allegro Brillante, The Cavalier in The Nutcracker, The Lead in Who Cares, The Lead in Serenade, Crassus in Spartacus, And Siegfried in Swan Lake.  Mr. Mack was featured as soloist alongside dancers from Boston Ballet, New York City Ballet, and Paris Opera Ballet in Radenko Pavlovichs’ Life Chance in Columbia, SC and as a guest artist with Ballet Clasico de Camara with Nina Novak in Venezuela, and with Sapporo City Ballet in Japan.   Mr. Mack was also offered to be a soloist guest artist with the Cape Town Ballet in South Africa, and with Teresa Carreno the national ballet of Caracas, in Venezuela.
