Anthony Weeks

Anthony Weeks is an M.F.A. candidate in Documentary Film and Video at Stanford University. His documentaries have been screened at venues including the Big Sky International Documentary Festival, the Davis Feminist Film Festival, Dokufest (Kosovo), and Hot Docs International Documentary Festival. Anthony’s short video El Milagro de Stockton, co-directed with Carolina Kondo, was selected as a semifinalist in the 2009 Angelus Student Film Festival. In addition to film production, Anthony's research interests include trauma, history, and memory in film; the representation of people with disabilities in documentary and narrative film; and cinematic portrayals of the psychotherapeutic relationship. Prior to his work in documentary film and video, Anthony had careers in clinical social work and illustration/information design. He is an alumnus of Grinnell College (IA), Augsburg College (MN), and The New School/NYC.
