Reinaldo M. Green Wins Highest Honors at Sundance!

Sundance wrapped up their film festival January 28 by announcing the winners for this year’s outstanding films. 2014 Princess Grace Award winner Reinaldo M. Green was awarded the most prestigious Special Jury Award for Outstanding First Feature Film for Monsters and Men. The film is a narrative that unfolds after the killing of a black man by police. The story is told through the eyes of three individuals: a bystander who filmed the act, an African-American police officer and a high-school baseball phenom inspired to take a stand.

Prior to producing Monsters and Men, Mr. Green was recognized as a Wasserman Finalist and earned the 2014 Media Services Producing Award from NYU film. His short film, Stop, won an honorable mention for Best Short Film at Ashland Independent Film Festival.
