Thomas Javier Castillo is a filmmaker with an interest in the history, politics, and people of the American Southwest. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, where he received a BFA from the University of Arizona, he currently resides in Evanston, Illinois, where he is pursuing a graduate degree from Northwestern University. His short films and videos have played in several festivals throughout the country, and he is currently working on a variety of projects, including a documentary, a collaborative film, and a website.
