Born and raised in the Bay Area, Sullivan played basketball and majored in Theater at Brown University, before transferring to UCLA's School of Theater, where he was the recipient 2009 Art Friedman Award. Sullivan's selected regional credits include:Clementine in the Lower 9 (Theaterworks, Bay Area Theater Critics Circle Nomination), References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot (AlterTheater), Twelfth Night (African-American ShakespeareCompany), Intimate Apparel (AlterTheater), and One Night in Miami...(Rogue Machine Theater, Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award, Ovation Award Nomination). On-screen, Sullivan has appeared in Parks and Recreation (NBC), and most recently won Best Supporting Actor at the Indie Gathering Awards,for his portrayal of Orlando in the film adaption of Shakespeare's As You Like It.
