Ms. Botez is a Princess Grace Recipient and NEA/TCG Career Development Program Recipient. Nominated for The Henry Hewes Design Awards, The Barrymore and Drammy Award. Oana walked away recipient of both The Barrymore and Drammy Award.

Ms. Botez is a graduate of Bucharest Art Academy (Romania) and received an MFA in Design from NYU/Tisch School of the Arts. Ms. Botez was a major contributor for the first Romanian theater design catalogue, called Scenografica. Ms. Botez has been teaching costume design at Colgate College, Brooklyn College, and MIT. She resides in Manhattan, New York.
