Jimmica Collins graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a B.F.A in Theatre. Jimmica began her professional career in Atlanta, Georgia. Notable Atlanta credits include: The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane (Abilene), Company the Musical (Marta), Lauren Gunderson’s The Taming (Bianca), Fancy Nancy the Musical (Bree), Oliver! (Mrs. Sowerberry), and Freed Spirits (World Premiere). Jimmica soon developed a love for Puppetry. She began performing at the largest organization dedicated to puppetry, the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta. Puppetry credits: Harold and the Purple Crayon (Narrator), Beauty and the Beast (Beauty), Tall Tales (Hot Biscuit Betty), Mother Goose (Mary, Mary), and Aesop's Fables (Cutie). Jimmica is a 2018 Suzi Bass Award Winner for Best Ensemble and Best Production in The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.
