 After high school Jeffrey Van Sciver attended The Juilliard School and then Dominican/LINES Ballet BFA program where he is now a junior.  In 2010 he received a Dizzy Feet Foundation scholarship and was invited to perform with the San Francisco Symphony and the Southern California Ballet.  Van Sciver recently finished his first season with Copious Dance Theater where one review stated “all focused on Jeffrey Van Sciver…mesmerizing…movements as liquid as a long string of pearls…”.     

Van Sciver is the 2011 Shenson Performing Arts Fellow by the San Francisco Foundation. This summer he attended Earl Mosley’s Institute of Arts and performed with Dawsondancesf at California State Summer School of Arts. Van Sciver has performed works by Rennie Harris, Karen McDonald, Nina Flagg, Carmen Rozestraten, and Gregory Dawson , with whom he is currently nominated for an Izzy Award.
