Ham Tran was born in 1974, the youngest of first generation ethnic Chinese Vietnamese parents. His films have been experiments in visual story telling and include: Sisyphus, The Prescription, Pairents, Pomegranate, and Poetree. His comedic works Tet 2001 Show and Who Wants to be the President (Of the Vietnamese Community)? have been shown on Little Saigon TV, broadcasting to over 300, 000 Vietnamese-American viewers across the country. Ham is currently working on his thesis project, The Anniversary, which tells the story of two brothers caught on opposing sides during the Vietnam conflict.
