Erick Lindsey

Theater Honoraria

Erick Lindsey

Princess Grace Award:
Theater Apprenticeship, 2018

Erick comes from St. Louis, MO. He grew up in a rural area in Missouri named Ironton, MO. If you get a chance, look it up. He is just starting in his professional career but is currently interested in learning about the world that came before him. Last year, Erick played Sterling Johnson in August Wilson’s Two Trains Running. What he learned changed him forever. During the preparation for the show Erick learned about the history of African Americans. He became hooked on August Wilson shows and what they teach. He looks forward to learning more about history through African Americans eyes. It helps him get a better understanding where his family comes from. He thinks this program will allow him to be connected to a history of people who have overcome and still love with love and joy in their hearts.
