Cary's next television project will be the Netflix series MANIAC starring Emma Stone and Jonah Hill, which he will also direct and executive produce.  Fukunaga made his feature film writing and directing debut with the critically acclaimed SIN NOMBRE followed by the film adaptation of Charlotte Bronte’s JANE EYRE, both released by Focus Features.  BEASTS OF NO NATION, his third film, was an official selection at the Venice, Telluride, and Toronto film festivals and was released by Netflix.  Currently in development is a drama for Sony based on the life of General Thomas-Alexandre Dumas, which Fukunaga will direct and produce through his Parliament of Owls production company and in partnership with Get Lifted.
