Arin Arbus

Arin Arbus has directed at Hangar Theatre, Primary Stages, Theatre Outlet, FringeNYC, Storm Theatre, HERE, Juilliard and Williamstown Workshop. She was a Playwrights Horizons Directing Resident, a Williamstown Workshop Directing Corps Member, was selected as an alternate for TCG’s 2007 Future Leaders Grant, is a Drama League Directing Fellow and the Associate Artistic Director at Theatre for a New Audience.
In addition to working in mainstream theater, Arbus is passionately interested in engaging alternative communities. In association with Rehabilitation Through the Arts, last year Arbus directed Of Mice and Men – a play about lost dreams -- with an all male cast of inmates at Woodbourne Correctional Facility – a medium security prison. She is currently working with this group as they devise a new play about the impact of incarceration on families.
